“Agriculture propel the development of the country”

The primary sector of the economy is the base of the country. Thanks to this sector, the all the country produced and processed different foods. The activities covered by the primary sector are: fishing, hunting, agriculture, and others.

The agriculture is the art of cultivate the land. It is a very important activity in the country, as we have many resources that make us a country so recognized. In Colombia the climates are benefic for the different aliments.

The basis is the exploitation of the land or the resources that this generates in natural form or by the action of man: cereals, fruits, vegetables, grass, and other varied fodder plant foods.

Actually the ambient crisis has brought consequences for the human. The different cultivation have been affected.

Because of the relief and the different climates that owns the national territory, is rich in a myriad of products and in a wide variety of the same. The most important agricultural products to Colombia, from an economic are: coffee, sugarcane, cotton, banana, tobacco, gold, emeralds, platinum, iron, copper, salt, cattle. The main agricultural areas are located in the Andean region and in the coast plains.
